Assignment Project

We are recruiting for a new division of a world class technology organisation. This newly formed division is providing beachhead solutions for its largest customers, designing and deploying six figure priced mission critical systems utilising the very latest technologies.

The philosophy is based on engaging the partner network which will provide the major resource pool to deliver these systems. A key aspect will be applying skills and knowledge transfer to the partner community enabling them to learn and apply new knowledge, expertise and skills on an on-going and evolutionary basis.

To succeed in this environment demands high expertise within individual disciplines, a depth of hard earned experience, the ability to impart knowledge to a broad audience and sell conceptually new ideas and deliver innovative solutions in a complex technical environment integrating new technologies with diverse software and infrastructure platforms.

1) Group Manager, Development

  • To manage the programming development activity in all its aspects

  • To define the development tools and implementation processes for leading edge systems

2) Programme Manager

  • Drive the design, development and deployment of large scale projects. Remaining cognisant of the broad, operational picture direct integrated project teams of highly skilled and technically diverse professionals.

3) Infrastructure Manager

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience of data centre operations and architecture gained through designing and managing large date centres supporting web based applications.

4) Project Director

Responsible for the complete management and delivery of a multi-threaded 'market moving' programme of work for an end to end solution; on time, on budget, to cost and with high customer satisfaction.

5) User Experience Programme Manager

  • Drive the design of the user experience (UEx) for key client projects, applying an iterative prototyping and evaluation process, and ensuring usability and accessibility best practices are adhered to.

Success Criteria

  • Passionate about designing solutions, using the newest technologies, which change the way people live, learn and work.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and experience of applying user-centred design methods throughout the development lifecycle.
